California Tower
Earthquake Retrofit Plan

The California Tower was built for the Panama-California Expostion on 1915.

The Committee of One Hundred contributed $10,000 toward seismic retrofit planning for the California Tower, a Balboa Park icon. Our matching funds helped the City obtain a grant funded by Prop 40. Additional funds are needed for the retrofit itself.
