Restoring Balboa Park's Plaza de Panama

Mayor Sanders has committed to restoring the Plaza de Panama before the 2015 Centennial of the Panama-California Exposition. Parked cars will be gone from the Plaza and Balboa Park will have a much-needed new tram system to make it quick and easy for everyone to get around inside the park.


The Mayor has stated that no general funds will be used for this important project.
